XJCSENSOR XJC Six-Axis Force/Torque Sensor, IP65

XJCSENSOR

$1,795.00

XJCSENSOR XJC six-axis force/torque sensor for robots and automated equipment, with IP65 protection, high accuracy and repeatability, a wide operating temperature range, multiple capacity options, and an optional RS485 interface for PLC integration.

Overview:

XJCSENSOR XJC Six-Axis Force/Torque Sensor, IP65 is a six-axis force and torque sensor for robotic systems and automated production equipment.

Manufactured by XJCSENSOR, model XJC offers two capacity options of 200 N.m and 1000 N.m, nonlinearity of 0.5% F.S., and repeatability better than 0.1% F.S. for precision torque and force monitoring applications.

The sensor operates from -20 to 80°C with compensated performance from -10 to 40°C, and maintains thermal stability with output drift under 0.1% F.S. per 10°C.

IP65 environmental protection supports use in industrial settings where dust and moisture are present.

Headline specs:

  • Six-axis measurement with IP65 protection
  • Capacity options: 200 N.m and 1000 N.m
  • Operating temperature: -20 to 80°C, compensated -10 to 40°C
  • Excitation: 5 to 10 VDC

Integration and interfaces:

The unit accepts 5 to 10 VDC excitation and offers an optional RS485 digital interface for integration with PLCs and motion controllers.

Cable configuration includes two 4.5×0.5 m conductors, two 4.5×7.0 m conductors, and a 14-pin plug connector.

Environmental and durability:

The sensor tolerates overloads up to 300% of full scale and maintains insulation resistance above 2000 MΩ at 50 VDC.

Thermal stability is supported by output drift under 0.1% F.S. per 10°C, suited to variable temperature conditions.

Applications:

Suitable for robotic end-of-arm tooling, assembly verification stations, and test fixtures where multi-axis force feedback is required.

The sensor integrates with PLCs and motion controllers via an optional RS485 digital interface. It accepts 5 to 10 VDC excitation for power and includes two 4.5×0.5 m conductors, two 4.5×7.0 m conductors, and a 14-pin plug connector.
Model XJC offers capacity options of 200 N.m and 1000 N.m. It tolerates overloads up to 300% of full scale.
IP65 protection allows use in environments with dust and moisture. It operates from -20 to 80°C with compensated performance from -10 to 40°C, and maintains output drift under 0.1% F.S. per 10°C.
Nonlinearity is 0.5% F.S. and repeatability is better than 0.1% F.S., supporting precision torque and force monitoring. Thermal stability further supports consistent measurements in varying temperatures.
The sensor is suitable for robotic end-of-arm tooling, assembly verification stations, and test fixtures that require multi-axis force feedback. Its six-axis measurement capability supports force and torque monitoring in automated production equipment.

Six-axis force/torque sensing versus single-axis load cells:

This sensor captures force and torque across all six axes simultaneously, whereas traditional load cells measure only vertical or single-direction load. Choose this when your application requires simultaneous monitoring of multiple force vectors and rotational forces.

  • For robotic end-of-arm tooling on delicate or precision assembly tasks, simultaneous six-axis feedback enables real-time compliance and prevents contact damage during insertion or placement.
  • In assembly verification stations, six-axis measurement confirms correct part seating in multiple directions at once, catching misalignment that single-axis sensors would miss.
  • For test fixtures under variable temperature conditions from -20 to 80°C, the 0.1% F.S. thermal drift per 10°C maintains accuracy across seasonal or process-induced temperature swings.
  • In dusty or wet production environments, IP65 protection allows mounting near coolant spray or chip ejection without housing failures common in unprotected sensors.
  • Capacity options of 200 N.m and 1000 N.m suit both light precision tasks and heavy handling, and 300% overload tolerance protects against accidental impacts on production lines.
