SMC ZXPE5 | Electric vacuum gripper | for FANUC

The SMC ZXPE5 is an all-in-one electric vacuum gripper that integrates a vacuum pump, vent valve, pressure sensor, and suction cups into a single 0.556 kg unit.

Designed for FANUC CRX collaborative robots, it connects via M8 plug-and-play interface with PNP compatibility and eliminates external air supply requirements.

The gripper delivers up to 5 N maximum gripping force.

Suction cup configurations are available in diameters from 8 to 32 mm, offered in various shapes and materials to accommodate different workpiece geometries and surface conditions.

The integrated vacuum generation and leak-reducing design enable stable handling performance with minimal setup complexity.

Three selectable operating modes optimize energy consumption, while a 360-degree status display and built-in diagnostics provide real-time process visibility.

The gripper mounts via an ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6 tool flange that facilitates installation and rapid tool changeover using only two clamp screws.

Applications include pick-and-place operations, packaging, palletizing, and handling of flexible, uneven, or delicate surfaces.

Maximum ambient operating temperature is 40°C.
