Schmalz CobotPump | electric vacuum pump for cobots

The Schmalz CobotPump is an electric vacuum generator engineered for cobot end-of-arm tooling.

Weighing 0.225 kg and capable of generating vacuum levels up to -0.6 bar with a maximum rated flow of 1.6 l/min, the unit handles payloads up to 3 kg without requiring a compressed air supply.

This eliminates pneumatic infrastructure from the work cell and simplifies system integration.

The pump operates within a temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and is optimized for compatibility with collaborative and lightweight robot platforms including Universal Robots, FANUC, ABB, Dobot, and igus models.

Optional URCap software supports rapid commissioning through a Plug & Work approach.

Typical applications include pick-and-place operations, packaging, assembly tasks, and bin-picking where airtight workpieces fall within the 3 kg payload threshold.
