The igus RL-X0223 is a compact rotary gripper that combines pneumatic actuation with vacuum gripping to add rotational capability to delta and Cartesian robot platforms.

It delivers a 360-degree infinitely rotatable axis, a 17 mm Z-stroke, and handles payloads up to 0.3 kg.

The unit includes a lifting suction cup identified as DHS2017-S / SN-M5-DM22 and operates at speeds up to 500 rpm while maintaining a non-rotating tool center point.

Each axis can be controlled individually, and the module supports closed-loop encoder capability for accurate positioning.

Integration options include full compatibility with igus Robot Control or operation via external motor controllers such as the igus dryve D1.
