The RGI-100-30 from DH Robotics combines parallel gripping with infinite rotation in a compact, dual-servo design.
The unit delivers 30 to 100 N gripping force per jaw across a 30 mm stroke, while providing continuous rotation at speeds up to 2160 degrees per second with a rated torque of 0.5 N·m and peak torque of 1.5 N·m.
Recommended for workpieces up to 1.5 kg, the gripper achieves position repeatability of ±0.02 mm and swiveling repeatability of ±0.05 degrees.
Opening and closing cycles complete in 0.7 seconds each.
The integrated design includes replaceable fingertips and intelligent feedback, with adjustable parameters accessible through standard Modbus RTU communication over RS485 or digital I/O.
Optional communication protocols include TCP/IP, CAN2.0A, PROFINET, and EtherCAT.
Operating on 24 V DC with 1.0 A rated current and 4.0 A peak, the unit is rated IP20 and functions in environments from 0 to 40°C at up to 85 percent relative humidity.
The gripper is CE, FCC, and RoHS certified.
Applications include test tube handling in medical automation, as well as component manipulation in electronics and new energy manufacturing where combined grip-and-rotate operations streamline processes.
