The ReBeL Cobot with integrated seventh axis is a collaborative robot system that pairs an igus ReBeL Cobot with a drylin ZLW-20200 belt-driven linear axis.

This configuration delivers 7 degrees of freedom, 2 kg maximum payload, and 1.5 mm repeatability.

Maximum reach extends to 2000 mm at the arm, with system reach up to 5800 mm based on seventh-axis configuration.

The linear axis offers stroke lengths up to 3000 mm and can be mounted horizontally or overhead.

The system is controlled via igus Robot Control software with direct CAN bus integration, allowing the seventh axis to be synchronized with the robot as an external axis.

Simultaneous coordinated movement of both the cobot and linear axis is supported.

Communication protocols include Modbus TCP/IP, ROS, CANopen, and digital I/O.

Free control software is included.

The drylin linear axis uses tribologically optimized plastic bearing components that require no lubrication, reducing maintenance requirements.

The belt-drive design is suited for extended travel applications.
