Epson RS3 SCARA Robots - 350mm

The Epson RS3 is a SCARA robot with a 350mm arm length and 130mm Z-axis stroke that provides a 494mm x 494mm pallet work envelope.

Its distinctive design places Joint 2 completely underneath Joint 1, creating a perfectly cylindrical work envelope with no lost center space and enabling through-center motion paths that reduce cycle times.

The robot achieves cycle times of 0.34 seconds with PowerDrive servo technology delivering high acceleration and deceleration rates with smooth start and stop characteristics.

The RS3 operates with Joint 1 and Joint 2 movement of +/-225mm in a zero-footprint configuration.

Controller options include the RC180 or the RC620+ workcell controller.

Clean room models are available with ISO Class 3 certification and ESD compliance, featuring a 100mm clean Z-axis stroke.

The Epson RC+ development environment provides integrated vision guidance, .NET support, and industrial communication protocols including DeviceNet, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP.

A GUI builder is included for operator interface development.
