Linear motion module designed to expand the working envelope of Universal Robots UR3, UR5, UR10, and UR16 models, enabling increased reach and productivity in automated cells.
This igus 7th axis linear motion system provides extended travel range for Universal Robots collaborative and industrial robot arms in models UR3, UR5, UR10, and UR16.
The module operates with a BLDC motor and delivers speeds up to 0.6 m/s with a repeatability of ±0.3 mm, suitable for material handling, machine tending, and multi-station assembly tasks.
The system can expand robot workspace up to four times the base configuration.
This 1,000 mm stroke length unit is part of a product line offering stroke lengths up to 3,000 mm, with additional lengths available upon request.
Kinematics are controlled through UR Cap software integration, allowing seamless programming within the Universal Robots interface.
The unit handles a maximum radial load of 500 N and a maximum axial load of 250 N.
Controller hardware is included.
Energy chain for cable management is not included and must be ordered separately.
