2 jaw parallel gripper | for ReBeL Cobot | GEP2006

The Zimmer Group GEP2006 is an electric 2-jaw parallel gripper designed for robotic handling where space is constrained.

Each jaw provides 6 mm of stroke, and the unit delivers up to 145 N gripping force while handling workpieces up to 1 kg.

Repeatability is held to 0.02 mm across cycles.

The gripper operates in ambient temperatures up to 60°C and carries an IP40 rating for dust and splash protection in industrial settings.

At 0.19 kg, the unit adds minimal mass to robot payloads.

The design is rated for up to 10 million maintenance-free cycles, reducing downtime and service requirements over the product's service life.

Typical applications include pick-and-place tasks, electronics assembly, machine tool loading, and other compact robotic handling operations where the combination of stroke length and gripping force matches part geometry and weight.

The gripper uses I/O control and includes integrated position sensing via a 0–10 V output.

Removable centering sleeves support repeatable finger installation and changeover.
